Editorial policy
This page explains how NailDoodle guides are written, how images are sourced and labelled, and how corrections are handled.
What a guide contains
Each guide groups designs around one topic. Every design has its own image, a short description, a suggested “Ask your nail tech for” line and a practical note on time or upkeep. Titles state how many designs a guide contains, and an automated check compares that number with the page before a guide is indexed.
Images
Every image on the site is tracked back to its source: an AI-generated illustration, a licensed stock photograph credited to its photographer, a brand press image, or a photo used with a creator’s direct permission. We do not scrape images from Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok or Google Images for publication.
AI-generated illustrations are labelled “AI-generated illustration” next to the image. They show how a design idea could look and are not photographs of real manicures. In current guides each image appears in that guide only and must match the idea it illustrates; older archived guides may share photos while they are rewritten.
Authorship
Guides are published under the NailDoodle Editorial byline, with the date they were published and the date they were last updated shown on the page.
Updates and corrections
When we change a guide in a meaningful way, the updated date changes. If you spot an error or a credit that needs fixing, please contact us with the page link. We review each report and correct confirmed errors.
Affiliate links
Some guides may contain affiliate links to nail products. See our affiliate disclosure. Affiliate relationships do not decide which designs we include.
